A review on the anime: Utawarerumono "The One Being Sung"
This one concentrates on the "identity" aspect as the main character is a person who has no idea of his past and struggles little by little to get closer to it. The quest begins as the main character slowly discovers who he really is: "who am I?" "what am I?". Will he really uncover his past? Will he be able to handle the pain and agony of someone who has forgotten his past and origin?

Animation
The animation was quite splendid in most parts and there are some times that it is just too plain but acceptable. I gave it: 8
Sound
The timing and sound-mixing was good. The OP for me is quite average but I prefer the ED. The sound effects were nicely done and so were the back ground music. I gave it: 7.5
Story
I would say that this one had a great story and has fewer similarities with the others. The story progresses slowly but is enjoyable for a 26-episode series. I gave it: 7.5
Characters
There are a lot of characters from swordsmen to archers. As you can see there are similarities in terms of characters with respect to other anime series. But the main character is nicely done. What I can tell about him is that he has most of the "good aspects" not to be found in other characters which makes him superior to the others. I gave it: 8

For action-fighting lovers this one right here would really pump you up! Now here's your average high-school guy: Kenichi who goes to school and gets bullied every time by his upper-classmen. What we would see here is how he could get over his weaknesses. He then meets a girl named Miu who will suddenly change his destiny. I'd say the story, characters and the ending is pretty good so better not miss this one!
I would say that this is one unique anime since from the start you would really see the incompatibility issue. Well in real life, their differences would definitely be taken into consideration. This anime showed that true love starts by being friends and would progress from there. This one has a lot of humorous moments that would definitely make you laugh. Well what can I say, just by looking at the facial expressions of the characters, I actually laughed my socks off! The story is pretty nicely done, the characters, and the ending is good!
For several hours of non-stop laughing this anime has given me the stomach ache! This one is a totally hilarious one. It begins with a simple guy named Nagasumi who was saved by a mermaid. According to mermaid law, any human sees a mermaid's true form he/she would be killed. Because of this occurrence of events, would Nagasumi still live a normal life after what happened? Well that's up to you to see for yourself! XD The story is I would say in two words... great and amazing! the characters, ending, genre was very well done for me.
